  1. This archive contains the MuTation Engine <tm> version 1.00ß.
  2. It is for use by (experienced) virus programmers only.

  7. Here is what files should be in there:

  9. MTE.OBJ      - The Engine itself
  10. MTE.DOC      - A short documentation in English
  11. RND.ASM      - Source code of a sample random numbers generator
  12. DEMOVIR.ASM  - Source code of a fully working demo virus
  13. MAKE.BAT     - BAT file to assemble DEMOVIR
  14. NOPS.BIN     - File needed for assembling DEMOVIR
  15. READ.ME      - This file

  17. Please distribute these files together in one ZIP file.  Pass them to
  18. virus programmers only.  If you have any problems using this program and/or any
  19. comments or suggestions, post a private message to Dark Avenger at the Virus
  20. eXchange BBS in Sofia, or a message to Dark Avenger at the VIRUS international
  21. conference on Fidonet.    The latest version of the Engine should also be
  22. available at that BBS.

  29. A problem has been reported with the random numbers generator included in
  30. version 0.91.  This problem has been fixed and we believe that random numbers
  31. are working correctly now.
